So today we had this little one in the studio, is'nt he just divine?
It got me thinking about my newborn shoots and the questions that I am asked often.
If you know anyone that is umming and ahhing about having a newborn photography session or you might be in the same predicament, heres a few key facts to share:
WHY DO I NEED THIS DONE?
Um in two short words "total cutness"! But seriously this is a once in a life time opportunity, a small piece of time in you and your childs life, the only time you can capture this type of pureness and innocence.
I can assure you that these photographs will be treasured for many years to come and once this window of opportunity is gone it really is gone. That would be devestating right?
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?
BOOK NOW! Yeah I know that may seem a little overwhelming but seriously 5 minutes is already to long to be thinking about this.
I can honestly only take on a certain amount of mums due dates per month and I book out fast! I am devestated constantly by having to say no.
Basically the way it works with a newborn shoot is if you are interested in booking a photoshoot for when bubs is born you provide me with your due date so I can put it in my calender. Once baby is born you need to contact me with 48 hours so we can book in a time within the first 2-3 weeks or so of birth so you can get all the gorgeous sleepy photos. If you do not book in prior to having your baby then it will be unlikely I will be able to do newborn photos, this would be awful for everyone involved.
