Cake smash shoots are best done at around 10-11 months old as children do not yet have food sensory issues and dont mind getting a little dirty. Over 1 Years of age children can sometimes get very upset with the mess that is made during a cake smash sesh.
Cake Smashes are a great way to celebrate your little ones first birthday and if done early enough you can use the images for the 1st Birthday Invitations. Alana Taylor Photography have many different Cake Smash outfits that your child can wear for the session otherwise you can organise your childs outfit.
