Babies Aged 4 Weeks -12 Weeks Old:
For Babies between 4 and 12 weeks, I typically don't recommend any type of session, as it can be tricky to get the most out of both the baby and the Photoshoot. At this age, they are no longer sleepy enough for those posed newborn photos, but not quite settled for a more active shoot. I suggest waiting until they are 12 weeks or older to book a normal awake baby session like below. By then, they’re more content, have longer awake periods, can smile and respond, and have better neck control, allowing us to create a variety of setups beyond just laying them on their back.​​​​​
Babies Aged 12 Weeks - 18 Weeks Old:
For Babies aged 12 to 18 weeks, this is the perfect time to capture their growing personality! At this stage, the are more alert, smiling, and responding to their surroundings. With better neck control and longer awake periods, we can get a beautiful variety of poses and setups beyond just laying them on their back. From tummy time shots to capturing those precious early smiles, these sessions are full of charm and fun.
