We think that is a good way to describe ourselves. Although we do a lot of whimsical and vintage styles we love love love colour.
I think a lot of people just assume that newborn photography has to be completely neutral; and whilst there is absolutely nothing wrong with neutral or earth tones we just love a touch of colour! There is a world of color and texture at your fingertips.
Adding a pop of color to your posed newborn session is the perfect way to create unique baby and newborn photography. If this is your first time doing a newborn session, and more importantly doing a session with me. You should know the following:
- I love colour
- I love mixing colours
- I love Yellow!
Some of the most common colour pallets are as follow;
-Pink, cream/white and sometimes purple
-Blue, grey and cream/white
Whilst these colours are a great, common and safe selection you are missing out
on so many other beautiful colours to add that pop of colour to your gallery. Consider bright green, yellow, orange, hot pink there are so many!!
Adding color to your session is a fun way to style the images because colour is not always common with newborn babies. So be bold and be different, we dare you!
