WHAT IS THE BEST AGE FOR NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY?

We aim to photograph your baby between 5-21 days old. As we take a limited number of bookings each month it is important to make a booking as early as possible – so please contact us once you know your due date. Newborn sessions are typically done on a Tuesday or Thursday and start at 9am. Sometimes a 1pm session may be offered if I have had a cluster of babies born. A 1pm session can not be requested unfortunately.

CAN I PICK THE COLOURS AND SETUPS FOR MY NEWBORN SESSION?

Of course you can. Once you have had baby and we have booked in your session date and time I will send you a Questionnaire and Preparation guide. I will ask you colours to use and colours to avoid. I will also ask you to send me 8-10 screen shots of my images that you would like for your session. You will be asked to send me a selection of Wrapped and Unwrapped shots. HOW MANY OUTFITS CAN THE BABY BE CHANGED INTO DURING THE SESSION?​​

I use 1 actual outfit for the baby during the session, as you can see in the gallery above, and then I do naked and wrapped shots also. I dont change the baby into several outfits during the session

HOW MANY SETUPS DO YOU DO FOR NEWBORN?
​I do many setups for baby, but all babies are different. However here is a standard gallery

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN OUTFITS, PROPS AND ACCESSORIES FOR BABY

No of course not, I have a studio full of props and accessories needed for the session

CAN WE HAVE OUR SESSION ON THE WEEKEND?

Sessions are held Monday-Friday. I do not work on weekends or travel to customer homes

CAN GRANDPARENTS/FRIENDS OR OTHER RELATIVES COME TO THE SESSION? AND CAN THEY HAVE PHOTOS TOO?

Unfortunately not Im sorry. Your session is exclusive to TWO adults only. Due to limited studio space and session policies, we request that all other friends and relatives stay at home. The session is for Mum and Dad of the baby only (and siblings of the baby if any) I dont do other generation photos during a newborn shoot.

IS HAIR AND MAKEUP INCLUDED?

Makeup and Hair is not Included. This will need to be done or organised by you prior to arriving for your session

HOW LONG DOES THE SESSION TAKE?

An average newborn session takes 1-2 hours however your baby will not be rushed if they need a little more time! There will be plenty of opportunity for comforting and milk when needed.

DO YOU HAVE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE?

Yes, I am fully insured for public liability through AAMI Business Insurance.

DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

Yes, a non-refundable booking fee/deposit ($50) need to be paid to secure your booking. Balance to be paid on the day of your session

HOW LONG WILL EDITING TAKE?

Editing usually takes 1-2 Weeks. Once I have finished I will send you a link to your Private online gallery with your password to view and pick your images.

WILL MY CHOSEN IMAGES BE WATERMARKED?

No chosen images will be high resolution and will not be watermarked

CAN I BUY EXTRA DIGITAL IMAGES OR PRINTS?

Yes, extra images can be purchased, please see price and packages for more information. Prints and product can also be purchased if you wish. You can see prices "HERE"

CAN WE HAVE A FAMILY/PARENT PHOTOS? AND SIBLING SHOTS DURING THE SESSION?

Yes of course! As a matter of fact we encourage parents and siblings to get in the photos! If you would like to do parent or sibling photos you will just need to select the Family/Sibling package. Remember though its for immediate family only, Mum/s, Dad/s and siblings of the baby.

CAN WE PURCHASE DIGITAL COPIES?

All our Packages include your purchased images as high-resolution digital files on USB. You can buy extra images on USB or upgrade to the All Incusive Package. I also sell Print and product if thats something you are after

Our studio is located in the south-east suburbs of Melbourne. I am located in Clyde.
