Newborn Sessions are best done between 2-3 weeks after birth. Sessions take between 1-2 hours depending on how baby feels on the day. Unlike most Newborn Photographers I include Parent/sibling shots at no extra charge. I provide all props for your newborn session including, Hard props such as buckets, baskets etc, Headbands, Hats and more. So Parents kick back & relax whilst I work my magic and create some amazing images for you.
Maternity Sessions are best done between 32-36 weeks before your little baby prepares itself for birth & moves down into your pelvis for birth. This remarkable little manoeuvre makes your belly “drop” & is not very flattering on camera. Some mums never drop, some drop well before 32 weeks…it’s all up to you! Maternity sessions are done at my studio and session is 1 hour. You will arrive with 2 sets of outfits (for both yourself & your partner) & we will change as we go along. However I do have a selection of Outfits and Fabric pulls that we can use during your session. Siblings are welcome at no extra charge. A what to wear guide will be forwarded to make shopping or packing a little easier for your session. Please enquire about the Maternity & Newborn Package I offer. Baby and Children sessions are designed for ages 4 months +. These sessions take one hour to complete and done at my studio in Cranbourne, Vic. You must provide all clothing for your baby and children for the session and I will provide all the props and backdrops. However I do have a selection of Outfits such as dresses, overalls, tutu's etc but please ensure that you do not reply on these in case sizes are not suitable. A what to wear guide will be forwarded to make shopping or packing a little easier for your session. I am Melbourne's most affordable Kids and Baby Photographer.
DO YOU HAVE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE?
Yes, I am fully insured for public liability through AAMI Business Insurance.
DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit need to be paid to secure your booking.
HOW LONG WILL EDITING TAKE?
Editing usually takes 1-2 Weeks. Once I have finished I will send you a link to your Private online gallery with your password to view and pick your images. All images in your Gallery are fully edited.
WILL MY CHOSEN IMAGES BE WATERMARKED?
You will receive TWO sets of copies. ONE set of HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGES (that’s WITHOUT MY LOGO) and ONE set of LOW RESOLUTION IMAGES (that’s WITH MY LOGO). You can use the high resolution images for printing and the low resolution images for sharing on social media or by email.
CAN I BUY EXTRA DIGITAL IMAGES OR PRINTS?
Yes, extra images can be purchased for $30 each or you can buy all the edited images in your gallery for an extra $200. Prints can be purchased if you wish. You can see prices "HERE"
WHERE SHOULD I PRINT MY IMAGES?
I offer Prints, you can see my prices on my Prints page. However if you prefer to do them yourself you will need to find a great quality printing lab! The cheap chain store labs (Kmart, BigW) are a good low cost option for your snap shots but honestly the quality is not the same and it is a shame to spend the money on your lovely photos and not print them with the same amount of love. The little extra cost is SO worth it!

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?
BOOK NOW! I only take on a certain amount of mums due dates per month and I book out fast! Basically the way it works with a newborn shoot is if you are interested in booking a photoshoot for when bubs is born you provide me with your due date so I can put it in my calender. Once baby is born you need to contact me with 48 hours so we can book in a time within the first 2-3 weeks or so of birth so you can get all the gorgeous sleepy photos I usually leave spots available for newborns as I have so many ladies due dates in my calender. If you do not book in prior to having your baby then it will be unlikely I will be able to do newborn photos for you so its best to book in early.
WHAT DAYS ARE OFFERED FOR NEWBORN SESSIONS?
Please Note: The days offered for your newborn shoot will be a weekday (not a weekend) and will be within about the first 2-3 weeks of birth. The shoot will also take place early morning (about 8.30am) as babies sleep much better for the shoot at this time.
DO YOU WORK ON WEEKENDS?
Yes I do work on Sundays, however Im usually booked out for weekends at least 4-5 months in advance.
CAN MY OTHER CHILDREN COME ALONG TO THE NEWBORN SESSION?
If you have other kids and you want sibling photos done I suggest bringing the other sibling/s for a short portion of the shoot and having Dad or someone pick them up as they can get extremely restless due to the long duration (anywhere from 1-2 hours) and its very hot in the studio. Having unsettled kids in the session can affect the newborn and I prefer not to have babies or toddlers in the studio for your newborn shoot as it can be very distracting and make for a very unsettled baby which can then affect your photos or the shots that we may be able to get. Toddlers are very unpredictable and its not always possible to get sibling and newborn images if your toddler is not being cooperative.
WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO LOCATED?
I have a comfortable and cozy in-home studio located in Cranbourne (30min from Melbourne CBD).
ARE PARENT AND SIBLING SHOTS EXTRA DURING A NEWBORN SESSION?
No this is all included in the package price. Providing siblings are happy to get involved and are not going to be a danger to your baby I welcome them into the studio for sibling shots.
DO YOU TRAVEL OR DO IN-HOME SHOOTS?
No. I do not travel to peoples homes for your photography session.
