QUICK FAQ (Because These Are Always the Next Questions)

What’s the Best Age for Newborn Photos?
The ideal time for newborn photography is usually within the first 5-21 Days, when babies are still very sleepy and curly. That said — don’t stress if you’re past that window. I photograph newborns a little older all the time.
The session style may simply adjust slightly depending on baby’s age and how settled they are on the day.
What should we bring to our Newborn Session?
Keep it simple — I’ve got most things covered. If you can bring:
Extra milk/formula if relevant (or be ready for feeds)
A dummy if you use one (helpful for quick settling, not mandatory)
Nappies and wipes
A spare change of clothes for baby (and honestly… for parents too — babies are tiny and yet somehow wildly powerful)
Any sentimental items you’d like included (optional: a special blanket, teddy, heirloom, etc.)
Everything else — wraps, blankets, props, styling items — is provided in-studio.
What if my Baby won’t Settle?
Totally normal. Newborns don’t read schedules and they don’t care that you booked a session (rude, but consistent). The Full Newborn Session has extra time built in for feeding and settling, so we can take it slow and baby-led. For the Wrapped Mini, the fully wrapped approach is often very soothing and helps babies settle more easily — and we work efficiently while still keeping everything calm and gentle.
How do we Prepare for our Newborn Session?
No big preparation needed — just arrive, breathe, and let me guide you. The studio is warm, comfortable, and designed for a relaxed newborn photography experience. If baby needs a feed as soon as you arrive, that’s completely fine.

Which Newborn Session do most Families Choose?
Families who want the most variety — including natural/unwrapped images, outfit setups, beanbag posing, bowls/buckets and wrapped setups — usually book the Full Newborn Session. If you’re drawn to the Wrapped-Only Style and prefer a shorter, simpler session with a beautifully cohesive look, the Wrapped Mini Newborn Session is a gorgeous choice.
STILL NOT SURE WHICH NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY MELBOURNE PACKAGE TO CHOOSE?
If you’re drawn to the Full Variety you see in my main newborn gallery — the Full Newborn Session is your best match. If you’re obsessed with the Snug, Wrapped Look and want something shorter and simpler — the Wrapped Mini Session will suit you perfectly.
